When you have one free day in Amsterdam, you can consider to spend you time exploring the Amsterdam Old Center. To explore the Old Center, a good starting point will the The Dam. You can then finish off the tour at the Centraal Station.

The Amsterdam Gay Pride is a big event in Europe. There are boat parade, street discos, open-air theater performances, a sports program, and a film festival.
Grachten Festival. If you are a classical music lover, this is a festival you will enjoy. This is a 5-day classical music festival. Each year, there is a different theme. This year the 10th year of the Grachten Festival. This anniversary celebration will be held at the Passenger Terminal Amsterdam.
