If you have an extra day, do make a trip to Incheon. This city is about 40 km (25 miles) west of Seoul city. In the past, this was a fishing village, called Jemulpo. However, today, Incheon has transformed itself into a booming harbor and it is South Korea’s fourth largest city. When you visit Incheon,
you can expect to see the nice waterfront which has amusement rides,
sushi shops, stores and ferries. Some to visit are the Chinatown, Wolmido,
and Freedom Hill (Jaya). If you want to try traditional Korean sleeping styles,
you can try yeogwan, these are motels with small en suites.
