Seoul discount tickets : If you are at Seoul, you might want to pay a visit to Namsangol Hanok Village (traditional Korean village). Believe it or not, a traditional Korean village located in the city and among tall buildings? Well, it is true. Getting there by subway is easy, just stop at Chungmuro Subway Station, and you are right in front of Namsangol Hanok Village(traditional Korean village). At Namsangol Hanok Village, you will find five traditional Korean houses, with a pavilion, a pond and a time capsule. It is a nice a pleasant place to take a leisure walk and relax. I have taken some pictures shown below, take you time and enjoy.

  After entering the front gate, you will see the pond and the Chunugak.  Over here, performances are held. While you are here, you will be abseoul discount ticketsle to see the five traditional houses. They were rebuilt after the traditional houses of Joseon Dynasty.

These houses you see belong to various social ranks of the society from peasant to king. The furniture within the house are situated so as to help visitors understand and appreciate the daily life during that time.

There is a traditional craftwork exhibit where you can buy small dishes and souvenirs to bring home. If you need some refreshments, you can also have traditional tea.

Within the Namsangol Hanok Village, there are traditional games you may want to try such as ‘neolttwigi’ (sea-saw jumping), ‘tuho’(arrow throwing) and ‘yunnori’ (traditional game of throwing wooden yut sticks). Give it a try since you are here and see if you enjoy them.

Traditional marriage ceremony can also be seen here. They are shown at Bak Yeong Hyo’s Residence during the weekends. This is an interesting event for both Koreans and foreigners and many gather to watch.

However, during the winter season (November to February), there are not many wedding ceremonies held as compared to Spring and Fall. The timing for the ceremony are held around noon or 1 p.m. You can take pictures wearing traditional wedding costumes.

In remembrance of Seoul’s 600 Year Anniversary a time capsule was buried in 1994 and it is anticipated to open four hundred years later. Which mark 1000 Years.
